2017 Honda Fit in Colorado

It is 2017, and cars should reflect the techno-mobile reality. Any prospective car buyer has likely done a lot of research on available models, trims and packages. What they might not have researched was the subcompact car class. In the past, subcompacts were built to be cheap, and the results reflected that: the frail subcompacts of the past, like Fiats and Renaults of the 1970s, which were a stiff breeze away from losing a wheel or having their roof blown off. Today, there a number of excellent subcompact cars. Chief among them is the 2017 Honda Fit, a small but excellent vehicle built with safety, convenience and value in mind. Here is a brief bit of information to help you to research 2017 Fit. For more information, please contact Kuni Honda, the Centennial Honda Fit dealer serving Denver Colorado.

Model Strengths

The 2017 Fit review have been very strong. Professional car reviewers have given the Fit excellent marks for things you would not assume a subcompact car would be well reviewed for - comfort, performance, cargo space and utility. Make no mistake about it, this is not a sports car, with the manual or CVT engine specs topping out at a less than stellar 130hp, but for a vehicle as small and light as the Fit, that is sufficient for most driving tasks, including extended trips on the highway. Not only is the Fit capable of going decent speeds on the highway, it gets great gas mileage. The Fit offers a full slate of comfort options, excellent gas mileage and great safety ratings, all for a very low price. The biggest model strength is the excellent value the vehicle presents.

Model Changes

A brief glance at 2017 Fit review show that there are some major changes made to the highly successful and very popular Fit platform. The Fit has not had a large scale adjustment to the exterior of the car, adding a rear spoiler to the back and adding LED technology to the headlights, running lights and brake lights. The interior, however, has undergone a major redesign, with the Fit pulling off a TARDIS like miracle; despite the vehicles appearance, the Fit is much bigger on the inside. The Fit includes something dubbed the "magic seat," which allows greater cargo space behind the front seats. The dashboard and center console have been streamlined to have all the necessary comfort adjustments with just a few buttons. The Fit has been updated to include a digital touch screen, which in 2017 has become something of a necessity.

Model Value

Even a small amount of research will show a prospective buyer just how value-oriented the Fit is. The Fit is an exceptional value, providing a vehicle that can be useful for both city and highway driving, with excellent gas mileage, at a very reasonable price. The base price makes the Fit extremely useful while extremely price conscious. These cars are renowned for their affordable maintenance and minimal issues. These cars are cheap to buy, cheap to fuel and cheap to own; the overall value of the Fit is exceptional, especially given how well designed this subcompact is. A bit of research 2017 Honda Fit shows just how excellent this vehicle is.

Model Key Trim Features

The Fit has three basic trims, each of which comes with a small assortment of available options and upgrades. The base model is the LX, which comes with a cloth interior and a 6-speed manual transmission. Even the base model comes with a well adjusted sound system, comfortable cloth interior, the utility oriented "magic seats" which have been specifically pioneered for the subcompact Fit, and a rearview camera. The EX builds upon the LX platform, but it also adds a few neat features. The EX comes with a 1-touch power moonroof, 16 inch alloy wheels, the Lane Watch service which gives a driver a warning beep if they are drifting into or out of a lane and a 7 inch touch screen to operate the full service infotainment system. The EX-L trim builds upon the EX, but also adds a few additional features. The EX-L comes with an engine upgrade to the automatic CVT system, and the EX-L trim adds paddle shifters for a sportier feel and more driver control. At the highest trim level, the seats are leather trimmed and the front seats are heated. The EX-L trim also comes with an available upgrade to include a navigation system.
