Honda Receives Top Scores for Carbon Footprint Reduction

In the last few years, most automakers have made substantial efforts to reduce their carbon footprints. It takes more than just a production-model EV to make a dent in environmental change, however. As such, Kuni Honda is extremely proud to share news that Honda recently placed on two indexes recently released by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
The CDP's Global 500 Report annually details data and analysis on different organization's corporate strategies and legislation aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other ways they plans to address climate change. The two indexes, the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) and the Carbon Performance Leadership Index (CPLI), rank top performers in each category.
The CDLI recognizes only 50 companies that have proven to be unmatched professionally in their approach to transparency of their corporate governance of climate change information. The CPLI recognizes an even smaller number of companies (30!) that have shown steadfast commitment to strategy, communications and emissions reductions. Honda was proudly named on both lists.
This means, from the first concept model to the arrival of the car on the lot to the moment the dealer hands the keys to a buyer, Honda makes an effort to lessen the impact on the environment. It's not only evidenced in the report from The Carbon Disclosure Project, but if you stop by Kuni Honda, located at 10750 E Arapahoe Road Centennial, CO, you'll see Honda models like the new Honda Accord stamped with the 'Ultra Low-Emission Vehicle' (ULEV) decal. You'll also see models like the new Honda Civic with the 'Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle' (PZEV) sticker.
